Recent products I am enjoying using

Im sure we all get it, using the same products day in day out, and then you notice that theres a few gems  what start to pop up more regularly than others. Well here are my items I have been reaching for more over the past couple of weeks!

So of course my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is in there. I just can't stop using this baby! I know the blogging community adores this concealer, as do I.

Also the other day I picked up the Wake Me Up concealer for under my eyes. The only problem for this I find is that its too dark for me and is the lightest shade. Yes it does make my eyes look bright but it doesn't really give me that highlighted look. I probably wouldn't purchase again.

MAC pro longwear concealer has always been in my make up bag. This is my 3rd bottle, I had been ignoring it for a while whilst discovering the collection one. But I LOVE putting this around my chin where my scarring is BEFORE my foundation as it gives me a perfect skin look.

I used to think this eyeko eyeliner was rubbish but it is actually AMAZING. I just line my upper lash line to give my lashes a fuller look.

The They're Real Mascara has been getting a lot of use recently to give my lashes a full look to compliment my recent use of eyeshadows.

Everyone and their grandmother knows about the Colour Tattoos but as a favour a brown smokey eye I LOVE putting the On and On Bronze colour on before my eyeshadow to make the colours stronger and last longer.

This little eyeshadow palette is from Maybelline and I purchased it in Autumn after getting a sort of Autumn colours bug. Listen, the white colour in this is the best inner corner highlighter ever. Its SO PIGMENTED and my eyes always look so bright and alive. I really cannot recommend it enough.

And lastly this little pot of joy. The Max Factor Creamy Blush, so small but SO good. This gives my cheeks such a beautiful pink healthy glow which looks very natural over powder blushes.

My favourite lip products (Including new Baby Lips review) VASELINE IS BAD FOR YOUR LIPS

My top 2 favourite ever lip products are Nivea Lip Butter and the new Baby Lips.

Nivea Lip Butter -
I have the caramel cream flavour and it has the most gorgeous smell ever! Literally does smell like caramel. I could sit for ages with my nose in this and just absorb the niceness.
When you apply it to your lips its super creamy. Its really as white/cream as it looks in the tub.

So it can make your lips look covered in white lip balm. Which YES it is, but you don't want anyone to know! So you have to really rub it in. But I LOVE THIS LIP BALM. My lips feel so so so soft once I have applied this and once I have applied it and rubbed it in, it makes my lips have such a lovely shine. I really can't describe the look because its that nice.

Baby Lips -

After looking for these beauties for like 3 weeks now seeing as though they've been floating around the UK for a while I finally found a Superdrug what stocked them! This one is the hydrating one. I also picked this one because, well its BLUE!
This balm gives the same effect on the lips as Vaseline, a very shiny hydrated look.
VASELINE is bad for your lips! Your lips get dependant on it, and it doesn't help them at all, it makes them worse. And so you keep applying it and applying it and buy more. You see how it works? You should use a lip balm what doesn't dry out lips like Vaseline does.
I have only tried this product once but so far I love it and is a runner up to my lip butter for sure.

Tiny beauty haul thanks to the bank of DAD

For these past two days I have suffered from chronic stomach cramps which induce me to feel faint, have shivers and lose feeling in my legs. Yes, they really are THAT bad. After having to come home from work early yesterday and feeling not to well again today yet battling into work, he treated me a bit. Bless.

So these are everything I got and admit-tingly its not a lot but new things really cheer you up! I REALLY wanted the limited edition neon pink Barry M and he said make it over £6.00 (what it needed to be free) and even though you can buy it separately I obviously didn't argue :P I've been after some cheap lip liners for a month or so now as I find them rather hard to use and didn't want to fork out loads for say a MAC one. I seen these at £2.99 each and 2P short decided to pick up the pencil sharpener too! I picked up a red and pink as they're the colours I wear most!

I also picked up a Models Own nail varnish in Hedonist £5.00 after eying it up for a week or too and its such a beautiful colour.

Rimmel Match Perfection foundation review

After using drugstore makeup in my early teens I steered towards more high end products when I was 15/16/17. I've been using MAC foundation for a good 2 years now but recently switched back to drugstore foundation after suffering from Acne. I wanted to see if the MAC foundation was breaking me out, as I never really got spots before using it. Makes sense huh?
I picked up the lightest colour which was Light Porcelain and it certainly lives up to its name. Its super light and perfect for the whitest skin tone, like mine! It already comes with a pump which I like also.
The foundation itself is rather runny. Something I have not been used to for a while. It feels rather thin as you apply it and you can see this from the minute you press some out of the pump. This was a huge change for me as the MAC Studio Fix foundation I have worn for ages is the heaviest coverage ever, which I like - because of my spots. A cruel circle I admit. I apply two coats of the foundation to give me a medium even full coverage effect. Applying one layer would give a lovely light effect and I would only apply one layer if my skin was better or I felt more comfortable in it.

Match Perfection - Studio Fix in NW10. Here is a comparison of the colour in the Rimmel and MAC and the shade of the MAC is PERFECT for me and with the Rimmel more or less matching it I was stoked!

Anyhow, I plan on using this foundation for at least another two weeks to see how I get on with it, but I genuinely do recommend it to ANYONE who is after a new foundation! It is wonderful applied with a powder over the top as it can look abit shiny once applied, plus that makes it last longer. Try Rimmel Stay Matte or MAC Mineralise Skinfinish natural!

Collection (2000) Lasting Colour Lipsticks

I have adored Collection's (Previously Collection 2000) make up for ages now. Its all amazing stuff and really cheap too! I like splurging on make up, and brands such as MUA I find such terrible quality. But Collection is really amazing stuff!
These lipsticks are award winning and I can totally see why!
They also include SPF15 (added bonus!)
They are super pigmented and the finish is somewhat similar to M.A.C's amplified/satin finishes. Just wonderful, bright, colourful, smooth lipsticks.

Bubblegum - Ruby Red - Pink Shock - Sweet Tart - Orange Punch

At £2.99 these are affordable and excellent quality. Luckily enough for me, I visited a place where these lipsticks were made a couple of years ago and all the people were so lovely. It was super clean, excellent conditions and it installed a good deal of trust within me that this brand was good quality and trustworthy.

Bubblegum - Ruby Red - Pink Shock - Sweet Tart - Orange Punch

They're all such beautiful colours on the lips. As MAC lipsticks have now gone up another £1.00 (thats £15.00 in the UK now!) I will definitely take another look at these and think about purchasing some more colours!
