Bronzed face and eyes summer look

Sure summer is starting to come to an end but there is still time to pull out a gorgeous bronzed look!

Firstly you need your base. I firstly applied a Benefit foundation stick (the purple one) to the areas I want highlight (catch the light) under my foundation, as we're going to be using a bronzer with this look.

Secondly, I used Rimmel Match perfection foundation in the lightest colour because I am so pale! We add colour after.
Then conceal any areas you wish (even highlight) with concealer. I used the small MAC one in NW15.

Next I contoured with Sleek Face Form Palette in Light. This adds the bronzed look to your entire face. Start at your cheek bones and go right around to your temples to slim down the outer parts of your face. Also, putting bronzer on your under chin can minimise a double chin.

Then I added some shimmer using my beloved MAC mineralise skin finish in Soft and Gentle. This completes your bronzed goddess face base!

Next! Eyes - (or you can do this earlier, what ever takes your fancy)

I use this palette from H&M but any brown shadows will do.

Apply a light brown all over your lid.

Next, on your crease and the outer parts of your eye lid simply add a darker brown (but not too dark) and blend it into the previous colour. You should be able to tell a small difference in the colour.

Then, add a small amount of really dark brown (you could even use a black) to your crease and blend that in. This will exaggerate the smokey eye and really add bronzed impact.

Then you can add pigment or a white shadow to under your brow bone to lighten up your look. Applying some brown shadow to the bottom of your eyes will really pull the look together so remember to do that! You can also add some eyeliner to add more impact.

Everyday make up routine

Im going to try not to babble here or this will take me ages. I've added numbers to the photos instead of making this post massive with a photo for each product (sorry if its not as easy to follow!)
BEFORE ANYTHING I WASH MY FACE AND MOISTURISE

1. Use MAC Pro Longwear concealer (£15.50) to really mask all my spots. This concealer makes them look more or less invisible I love it! I put this on first so my foundation doesn't have as much to do. I apply it where ever I want so all around my mouth mainly.

2. Then face base. I use MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW10 (£21.50)as my foundation. It has a really high coverage which I love.

3. I then go under my eyes with Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19)to get rid of dark circles. I also go over my spots again with this.

4. Next onto eyes! Curling your lashes is MUST! I can't remember where this one is from, but its only a cheap one and works really well. Curling them before mascara really opens them up and widens your eyes. It totally makes a huge difference!

5. Mascara next. I use Max Factor False Lash Effect (£10.99) and I LOVE IT. I hardly ever don't use this mascara as its amazing and defo my holy grail product. I recommend it to everyone. Max Factor are like the gods of mascara.

6. Next onto eyebrows. Doing them stresses me out so much! But I use MAC eyeshadow in Expresso(£12.00).Maybe a little too brown for my brows and I may try 'Charcoal brown' next? Anyone know if thats a good colour for brows? I apply this with a Barry M eyeliner brush (the blue one)

7. I coat my brows with some Eyeko brow gel (£18.00) to set them.

8. I then contour using the Sleek palette in Face Form (£10.00)in Light. I use the contouring powder from this mainly, just underneath my cheek bones, around up to my temples and along my forehead.

9. I use a Pro Longwear blush my MAC in Stay Pretty (£20.00) with a Real techniques Blush brush.

10. Finally, I highlight with the wonder Mac Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle (£22.00) on my cheek bones, and down my nose.

11. I set all this with a MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Natural in Light. (£22.00)

Thats basically my everyday wear. If I'm not going anywhere I do not wear any make up but for me I feel better wearing it and I like wearing it! To some of you this might be a lot, but I'm happy with what I wear. And would have much less confidence in myself if I didn't wear this lot. So yeah. If I'm off out for the  night or whatever I add eyeshadow too!

Hope you enjoyed this post :):)

M.A.C Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle

After hearing this being raved about on Youtube, blogs and Instagram I thought I would try this wonderful product. I've had it for a while now (3/4 months or so) and yes, it definitely is AMAZING. The price is £22.00, yes quite alot if you're not used to splurging on high end, expensive make up.But to me, this is a reasonable price for a wonder highlighter/bronzer what will probably last me at last 3 years! So far I've not seen it go down even a small bit and I use it more or less every day give or take a few days.

Mac offer a range or 'colours' in the skin-finishes and Soft and Gentle is the most popular one and I can totally see why! I'm really pale (NW10 in mac and Porcelain in everything else) And this still really suits my skin tone. But it would also look gorgeous with a tan.

It can be used anywhere on the body but I add some to the heights of my cheek bones and my nose to give a thinning effect. Its such a perfect highlighter and works really really well too. Its SO pigmented which I love.

Its colour is a beautiful peachy bronze.

This is a MUST HAVE ITEM in my books and I recommend it to no end!
